Too far to travel to join the main mob for today's ride down South so headed due East from Currambine this morning along some unfamiliar roads before lobbing onto great Northern Hwy and traveling through kilometres of road works before stopping at Gingin for a refreshing coffee whilst bravely foregoing the delicious looking pastries on display in the Bakehouse!!

Headed North again to the turn off for Toodyay via the Army Training area!!

Luckily for me I was on my best behaviour as not only did I come accross one Highway Patrol persuit car but I encountered SIX of them at approximately 10 minute intervals all the way into the Town of Toodyay itself!! The last one as I crossed the bridge into town. :shock: :shock:

As rain was forecast for all day Sunday I decided to drop my bike at home and pick up my ute so I could attend Catalano's Sunday and remain dry in the process.

Returning to Currambine I rechecked the forecast for the next few days and found that BOM had altered Sunday's forecast to LATE rain on Sunday.@^%*&(!!

Wasted trip :roll: :roll:

Good day to be out on the bike today anyway and discovering new roads in the Northern suburbs.

Was surprised to see so many sealed roads up this way, progress is coming North at last :P
