Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Hi all
I will probably meet up tomorrow at Dome Kelmscott
I may have to head way back up North early if a tradesman decides to turn up.

The day was perfect with Steve, Wes, Ross, Bill C, Swampy and I meeting at Dome Kelmscott with coffees in the morning sunshine. Waroona Bakery was the agreed lunch stop.
Canning Dam was passed as we headed to the Albany Highway then turning right to head towards Jarrahdale. The standard stop occurred at Serpentine Dam to disperse the processed morning coffees.
Onto the SWHighway and heading towards North Dandalup, Wes had to leave us here for an afternoon appt. leaving the remaining 5 of us to head towards Dwellingup via Del Park Rd and then onto Nanga Rd, Nanga Brook Rd and into Waroona.
As we sat in the Winter Sun the general consensus of the Bakery Pies was “ just a pie, nothing special “, so we may need to confirm this with the El Supremo pie taster in a later ride. As usual the discussion was politically and morally incorrect but entertaining.
Steve, Bill C and Swampy departed heading home directly via the SWHighway with Ross and I taking the more scenic route of Coronation and Dorsett Rds to get us onto the Forrest Hwy for a short distance and using Herron Point and Old Bunbury Rds to get us back onto the SWHighway and into Pinjarra. Corio, Hopeland and Kargotich Rds bought Ross and I onto the Tonkin Highway to head for our homes.
All in all fantastic winter weather, good mates and no issues resulted in another highly successful mid week ride. Thanks Swampy for TEC duties. I’ll be down south over the weekend but back in time for the AGM, wouldn’t miss for quids.

Thank you Pete for taking the lead on another terrific ride and it was great to see the paddocks greening up as they were resplendent in the morning sunshine!!

I have to say that I would travel anywhere, anytime with the group of guys on the ride today, The good natured bantering and humour was continuous whenever we made a stop and was indicative of the character and camaraderie that this group share with each other whenever we gather together.

This is something that is only possible to be shared between those that make the effort to come together on a regular basis and over a long period of time to share in a common interest which is all part of being and belonging to the family that exists in the BMWMCCWA!! 8)

Thank you to each of you for making a good day into a memorable day and I look forward to sharing many more with you all down the track when I complete the pending contract that is looming closer

Yes Pete, I would not miss the AGM for quids so make it a date on 8th mate!!
