Count me in - I will meet you at either Ascot or Mundaring, depending on what I am doing early Thursday morning.

Davebeemer1 DDD I.e. Democratically Decided Destination at Mundaring Dome. But I think Noel suggested at the Saturday Christmas Party a ride to I think Greenhills Inn but we will confirm that tomorrow. But the ride will be somewhere out in that direction.

A record large number of 9 riders turned up at Dome Mundaring for coffees and a chat. Chris R was there but could not come on the ride with selling/buying houses on his agenda. So it left Vic, Wes, Chris G,Noel, Nick, Digger, Brian and myself to decide our destination. Noel had previously suggested Greenhills Inn so that was it.
We somehow lost Wes in about 2 minutes as he thought Chris R was joining us, but he knew where we were going for lunch. We waited a while for him but with no sighting the remaining 7 pressed on. With the temperature in the low 20’s we passed through Stoneville, Chidlow, Wooroloo and Wundowie heading for Inkpen and Yarra Rds to get us onto Talbot West Rd. The boxers love Talbot Rd West so we were soon onto Waterhatch Rd and took a 5 minute break in Beverley. Vic chose to leave us there.
No sign of Wes so the remaining 6 took Vincent, Mawson and Greenhills South Rds (complete with 3 to 4 kms of easy dirt road) and Penny Rd to get us to Greenhills. A triple black GS, with Wes stamped all over it, was in the car park so we parked and found Wes inside at the bar, chatting to Rodney, the Bar Manager.
Drinks and lunches were consumed in a relaxed manner at the bar which we had to ourselves, with other patrons arriving as we left to keep Rodney company.
Onto York, Cut Hill Rd and Talbot Rd soon to be joining Talbot West Rd. We stopped before joining Yarra Rd to say farewells and head for home.
Thanks to all for an enjoyable and entertaining ride on a fine warm Spring day and an extra thanks to Brian for TEC duties.
