Had the pleasure of Mei joining me on the annual Dams ride. Numbers down with Ross and Bill joining us for the ride. Wes chatting with us at Mojos but not joining us and Goldie meeting us at North Dandalup.
So for the team of three we visited Mundaring, Canning, Churchman Brook and Wungong before hightailing it down the Highway to meet Goldie and proceed to North Dandalup Dam. We had the lower picnic area to ourselves and indulged in a Sausage Sizzle and drinks and of course solved all the world problems. Goldie was a font of knowledge of the area having lived close by in his childhood.
We each found our own way home, with Mei and I taking the SWHwy to Kelmscott and then hitting the Tonkin to home.
About 280km and home by 3pm in 36 degree heat.
Thanks to Ross, Bill and Goldie all for joining us.
