Another pretty good turnout at Cat's this morning but boy do we miss Lulu!!
Good to see his Royal Griceness on his Royal Enfield who claims he is healing quite well!! Also Lefty rocked up (excuse pun) looking like a freshly shorn sheep apart from a few stray dags!!
Scruff received news his new RT should dock over East around the 25th Feb 202??? and is chomping on the bit to get back in the saddle again!!
Scintillating Sophie arrived on her amazingly immaculate sports and tagged along with me on a direct route to Toodyay to beat the heat, 37C expected in Toodyay.
Toodyay Road was once again very quiet and we had a good clear run all the way.
Naturally we called into the Cola Cafe for a drink and a chat and and Sophie the poor silly girl made the mistake to ask me about my old job and the army
I still claim It was all Sophie's fault as she proved to be too good a listener and it was a real pleasure to talk to her as I prattled on remorsefully, however "HEAT: saved the day for her as it began to get decidedly warm sitting there after a while and Julimar Road beckoned!!
It was nice to feel the breeze again as we left town cruising thankfully on the designated speed limit as a police car suddenly appeared around a bend in front of us!!
It was a nice steady run down to Bullsbrook via the Chittering valley where Sophie parted company with me as she headed for home to an appointment with a hearing specialist to query the ringing drone in her ears???
I eventually lobbed home just after one after a pleasant (for me) day out with some lovely company for a change!!
Thanks for the company Sophie and I hope you get better soon!!

A Scintillating Sunday With Sophie!!
"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
