Although the weather was cooler numbers were down at Catalanos but we managed to get Nick, Ted, Gerry, Rob, Swampy, Anthony and Peter Bee to head out through the burbs to Canning Dam and down the Albany Hwy to Jarrahdale. Temperature was around mid twenties so refreshing. Roads quite as we headed past Serpentine Dam. Looks like the Cafe at the dam is permanently closed which is a pity as it was a pleasant refreshment stop.
Down onto the SWH to Ampol North Dandalup for a toilet break where Rob left us to return to Perth for a lunch engagement. Unfortunately Anthony had already left as he was not feeling 100%. Get well soon. The remaining 5 pressed on to Dwellingup then the Nangas down to Waroona. The sweeping Nanga Brook Rd was magic as usual even at the speed limit.
Very pleasant lunch at the Waroona Pinjarra Bakery with various pies the winning lunch.
The team split after lunch with some heading straight back and some heading West then North.
