Post by pspencer »

Thought it was time to return to Kelmscott Dome as the adjacent roadworks appear almost complete. A change is as good as a holiday  So leaving Gloria Jeans Ascot at 7:45 to mooch down to DOME KELMSCOTT for a 9:15 ish departure. DDD

Seven bikes and eight members at Dome Kelmscott this morning with the lower twenty temperatures appreciated. Four bikes on the ride with the toilet stop at Mundijong and entertainment provided by our favourite Film Director on the swings. Onto North Dandalup where I had to leave the Three Musketeers to return to Perth. There was some discussion about going around the Estuary and ending up in Miami Bakery in Falcon for lunch but I will have to ask one of the Musketeers if that plan eventuated?
Thanks B/5 and Nick for TEC duties.

We got to the Estuary ok but it all went pear shaped from there. HRG and I ended up having lunch on Mandurah fore shore (very relaxing) while Nick chose to take an alternative option.
Home around 2.30pm.
