Re: Thursday June 2 Ride MOJOS MUNDARING
As forecast by Peter Bee, there was precipitation for the eight Mundaring riders. I had the added bonus of a nail in my tire but through topping up air was able to get home. Thanks to Brian/5 for leading us up the hill on the “Clayton’s” ride.

Re: Thursday June 2 Ride MOJOS MUNDARING
Although we did travel along both sections of Clayton Rd it did include Katharine so my description for our ride to Mojos would be the Extended Helena Valley Middle Route. Peter’s favourite would then be named the Helena Valley Lower Route.
At Mojo’s we were entertained with accounts from Bozo’s on his recent NZ trip and a discussion on past experiences with the introduction of GPS.
As Swampy’s was absence, to maintain our presence at the Cola Café B/5 suggested Toodyay. After waiting for the rain to pass five riders departed with Peter in the lead. The first leg out included a lot of road spray, the remainder of the day being dry, with only the shaded sections being damp. The ride out was through Parkerville, along O’Brien, Toodyay, River Roads, finally to entering Toodyay from Julimar.
The ride home was down Julimar to Chittering Rd. Turning off into Morley Road to travel past the Lower Chittering/Bullsbrook farmlet subdivision, before turning back onto Chittering Rd. A brief stop at Bullsbrook before separating to make our own way home,
Thanks all, another great day out.
