Eleven riders took advantage of the stunning weather to visit the colourful countryside, starting with the 300 year old jarrah that is still standing but looking the worse for wear. Fortunately one of the riders who stopped standing was not the worse for wear and was not jarred by the trip to the big Jarrah.

Survey Ross, Brian/5, Rod Rocket Peter, Nannup Nick, GS Mark, Multi Media Mark, Kim, His Royal Griceness, Ted, Peter Bee and Bozo took the run through the Bickley Valley in the reverse direction to normal (Aka backwards or clockwise). The burnt area on Canning Mills Road had solid patches of Leschenaultia and Coral Creeper (Kennedia Coccinea). Fortunately the "Event Ahead" signage did not require negotiation and we headed on to Canning Dam. A brisk run to the General Store and an encounter with a Weimaraner included a discussion of titles that needed to be amended in the Carolingian Era. It was suggested that His Royal Griceness, having been promoted up the royal succession should be known as C/4 and that tail end Charlie should be more formally described as Tail End Charles or Last in Succession. Peter Bee had a brief problem in supporting China and an apoplexy at the price on Jarrah honey pots. Rod Rocket Peter had a brief separation from his gloves.
A run down the hill into Mundijong was followed by a rail side route to Cardup Road and into Byford where the ride ended.
Thanks to Peter Bee for running as Last in Succession or Tail End Charles and for the mob for a right royal discussion.
