Thursday 5th Jan Mojos Mundaring

Post by brian/5 »

Only two of us leaving Ascot Gloria Jeans via another variation to get to Mojo’s Mundaring.
Mojo’s was very popular with a number of families but alas only two motorcycles. After the usual coffee and discussion, we departed, no M/Cs sighted at the Dome. Stopping to view of the White Mill & Grin coffee shop in Mt Helena, looks promising, online menu enticing.

At this point I departed for home via Stoneville and the JF Nation Park, leaving P/Bee to carry on with the ride.
Very enjoyable riding through the shaded valleys. Even with the higher temperatures down on the coastal plains still comfortable. Being the cheapest on the way home at 169.7 for Prem 95, refueled at the new United/Pieface at the international airport.

Thanks B/5 for the company yesterday on part of the ride. I continued from Mt Helena out onto Toodyay where the Coca Cola Cafe was super busy and the Bakery was still closed, no familiar faces. So I headed back to the Gidgegannup Bakery for a Continental Roll and a Ginger Beer out in the shade with a pleasant cooling breeze, temperature around 33 degrees. Only higher temperature of 37 degrees reached when I descended to the plains.
So a great ride had, better than lounging out.
