Another nice gathering at The Dome in Victoria Park on an overcast cool Autumn morning!!
Macho Mark and mate joined us briefly before heading off to recce the camp sites in Dwellingup for a future camp out!
We were blessed to have Karen and Carol join us once again for breakfast, Thank you girls and even Braam dropped in, fresh back after a trip to Bali recently!!
Bozo decided that Toodyay was his destination of choice today and poached a couple of "Dandy Boys" to join him on his run while Wes and myself opted for a quieter backroad run made more pleasant by the cooler weather and the lack of traffic on a very relaxed ride arriving in Toodyay at the Cola Cafe a good hour before Bozo's group lobbed up!!
A quick catch up with a couple of local mates was enjoyed before we settled in for a long lunch with Scruff joining us later while Bozo's group piled in for a pie at the Bakery!!
A young couple created some interest at the Cola by having two Kangaroo Joey's rugged up in blankets looking very much at home in a pram!!
Amongst other topics discussed was the fact that we are so very lucky to live in this part of the world with all its benefits including a fantastic climate with the freedom to ride our bikes anywhere and any time we like!!
A nice cool run home completed my first ride for just over a week with thanks to Wes for his company !!

"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
