Into Cunderdin off the Q-town

Post by Bozo »

Stunning weather for run into the verdant countryside. One keen rider, Medic Mike, had a very new BMW750GS that had only done 18 kms. Great to see Peter Bee back in his motorcycle gear.

14 starters, R90S Mark, Wes, David, Rainer, Cameron, Swampy, Fiery Ross, Medic Mike, Multimedia Mark, His Royal Griceness, Rod Rocket Peter, Nannup Nick, Peter Bee and Bozo aspired to have lunch at the Ettamogah Pub in Cunderdin. They took Talbot West Road to Beverley before a run to Mawson, a loop through Quairading to a sleepy Cunderdin.

The canola crops were in a variety of stages with some in full yellow.

There was a distinct Irish theme to the meals service as we sat outside in the sun at the Ettamogah Pub.

The run home was through Meckering, Quellinton, Spencers Brook and Bakers Hill.

Thanks to a great group and to Peter Bee and His Royal Griceness for running as Tail End Charlie.

Very enjoyable.
