The day was made for riding a BMW. Bozo joined me at GJ and followed me as we took the usual route to Mojos. Noel joined us at Mojos, quickly followed by Peter 2 volts, Nannup Nick, Parky Bob, Vic and Wesley.
The proposed lunch stop was Bindoon Bakehaus and with Bozo and Noel not joining us we had an easily manageable group of 6.
Off through Stoneville, Chidlow, Wooroloo, Bailup Rd, Toodyay Rd, Berry Rd, Clenton Rd, O’Brien and Lancewood. With not a cloud to be seen and temperatures rising Brigadoon glided past as we descended down Weir Rd and Haddrill to join GNH.
The Chittering Valley was magnificent as expected with rich green paddocks being consumed by healthy looking bovines.
Not a huge crowd at the Bakehaus as expected with rolls and cakes being the most popular. As usual the interesting chat was diverse and amusing. David, with his magnificent blue RT, turned up as part of his solo ride.
The group split on the return journey with Nick joining me back through the Chittering Valley, some going straight down the GNH and David heading over to Gingin.
Thanks to all for a very relaxing, no incident day, with special thanks to Nick for outstanding TEC duties.
