Re: Thursday October 5 MOJOS MUNDARING
Ahh the Spring weather in Perth - magnificent!!! Yes a perfect day for motorcycling.
MMMark, Young Mr Grice (YMG) and Ralph joined me for the run through the burbs to Mojos, where Leftie and Mike ( Duke Diavel ) were enjoying a coffee. Bill arrived on his shiny GSA 1250, Nannup Nick, Noel and our Desert Dweller Mr Currie.
No written objections received for my chosen lunch destination of the Red Vault Cafe Beverley so the above minus Noel and Ross headed off through Stoneville, Chidlow, Wooroloo onto GEH.
Inkpen and Yarra soon got us onto the old favourite Talbots and Waterhatch to motor into Beverley around 11:15am for an early lunch. Burgers, following Bill’s recommendation, seemed to be the favourite but all food was commented on as tasty and good value. Beautiful verandah weather to discuss a variety of so important subjects.
Return was via Top Beverley, York, Spencer’s Brook. Unfortunately we had some unexpected hassle in Wooroloo with a bloody idiot pulling out of a side street on the LEFT, just missing my back wheel and almost collecting MMMark in his drivers door. Fortunately MMMark was on the ball and even though we were only doing 50kph his CFMoto ABS was truely tested. The driver did not stop but Mark rounded him up and gave him a well deserved serve. Too close for comfort.
We finished the ride in Chidlow with all having a great day apart from the Wooroloo incident.
Thanks to all for joining me on a brilliant riding day and special thanks to YMG for outstanding TEC duties with his cracked headlight on high beam easily showing all was well down the arse end.
