Even without PeterB the ride carries on.
The standard 7:30am departure from Gloria Jeans Ascot to ride up to Mojos Mundaring for a departure shortly after 9:00am.

With some the regular riders off chasing planes or bees a smaller group left Gloria Jeans for the regular Helena Valley run up to Mojo’s. Bozo had a delayed departure due to lack of air.

Lot39 Goomalling was agreed as the DDD. The ride out with six riders was via the eastern ratrun with loops through Beechina and Linley Valley. A brief stop in Bakers Hill before turning at Clackline, to go through Mokine, Spencers Brook, Burges Siding Rd, Throssell, then under the GEHwy at Grass Valley.
Through Rossmore, Hulongine, on to Goomalling. The food served at the Lot 39 Store & Café was still at its high standard. The food ordered ranged from Toasties, Avocado Smash, Steak Sandwich to a BST Roll. MMM attempted to show his dexterity in attempting to raise an umbrella

The ride home was via Irish Town, Katrine, Racecourse, River Rd, Salt Valley, Breeze & Lilydale.
We split at Mt Helena with majority heading toward Sawyers Valley for fuel.
The kangaroos stayed off the roads however we almost had several squashed ducks & ducklings. The closest was to separate the mother from her brood. She flew off leaving her brood behind.

Another great day’s riding, good company and fine weather.
My ride was over350kms.
