Re: Thursday December 4, Mojos Mundaring
11 at Gloria Jeans, 18 at Mojos and 14 on the ride which is a damm fine turnout. Astro had kindly offered to lead the ride to Narrogin so 12 followed him out of Mojos and I tailed along as TEC.
The GEH quickly took us to The Lakes and we headed towards York before diverging onto Yarra Rd and the pleasurable Talbots. Waterhatch Rd took us into Beverley with the GSH leading us to Brookton. A short stint on the Brookton Hwy lead us onto the York Williams Rd heading South followed by the North Wandering Rd, North Bannister to Pingelly Rd and finally the Wandering to Narrogin Rd to arrive in Narrogin at around 12:30pm. An excellent mornings ride.
Instead of the usual Fortune French Hot Bread Shop Astro led us to the New Cornwall Hotel. With an abundance of crisp chips with each serving the team was more than happy with the ample servings and reasonable prices. Astro’s decision was a winner. TV’s allowed the dedicated to keep up with the Test.
The return trip was the Narrogin to Williams Rd, a tour of the back blocks of Williams, a short stint on the Albany Hwy and then the York to Williams Rd, Fourteen Mile Brook Rd into Wandering. A short toilet break and out to the Albany Hwy. We diverted through Canning Dam and Gairdner Rd with the ride terminating at the Bean 2 Brook Café in Pickering Brook.
A big thanks to Astro for planning and leading an interesting longer ride (510km for me).
Also thanks to all for safe and sensible riding with corner marking making the TEC task too easy.

Thanks peter. Iam glad everyone enjoyed the route the corner marking was spot on and made for a flowing and seamless ride and yes we discovered a good drinking hole just east over the railway line. Good food. Good service and cold drinks. 542kms for me
