Re: Thursday 19th Mojos Mundaring
PeterBee took the lead from GJs for standard Helena Valley run up to Mojo’s
Meeting with the remainer of the crew at Mojo’s. The banter was mostly around Ralph’s bikes service. Hopefully he will get it back in time to be dispatched east for their Tassie ride.
Five riders decided to follow B/5 to Goomalling. Route was via the rat run to Bakers Hill then up to Salt Valley, through Northam and Southern Brook. Most of the discussion during our wait at several road works was on Digger’s replacement for his DR.
We mostly had a good run up to the Lot 39 café in Goomalling, despite the road works.. It was only warm while standing waiting for the pilot vehile. After lunch it got a bit warmer, however still Ok when travelling with the visor down, however lifting it up you could blast of hot air.
Although Ralph still maintains the record for the ride with the longest and most road works this group though I should have the record for having the longest wait times to proceed. The longest was on a section of Southern Brook, where we had to wait until they laid blue metal over fresh tar, at least it saved cleaning off fresh tar.
The route home was direct through Toodyay. I even had a slow crawl between GEastern Hwy and the Bypass. This was due to a truck accident blocking the road somewhere towards Maida Vale.
Thanks all for your company and PeterBee as TEC.
We only needed corner marking leaving GJs for the first few traffic lights.

Thank you B/5 for leading us on an interesting route to Goomalling and returning us to Perth. A little warm but not unbearable
Thanks for prompt detailed ride report.

Re: Thursday 19th Mojos Mundaring
Thanks B/5 for a good ride.
I was considering riding through to Balcatta to pick up a part from Cully's but sense prevailed and I left the ride at Gidgegannup and short cut to Sawyers Valley to get into my air conditioned ute to run the errand. 41 degrees driving through Midland.
As Dirty Harry said, "A man's got to know his limitations."
