I'd like to get an idea of interest in a ride around tasmania.... either around march 2009.. or october 2009 ( mind you could be 2010 with all this financial fallout).. rough dates at this stge.. ideas and suggetions accepted, at this stage i'm thinking to ride to melbourne.. it may be better to crate bikes to Melbourne / Tasmania though.. just to ensure the ride is enjoyable.
Other things i have not taken into account maybe a fair / event etc thats on in tasmania that may be worth seeing / doing, so dates may need to change.... i also dive.. so i would like to do a few dives along the way.
This is just to prick peoples minds at the moment..so get your thinking caps on and make some suggestions

Hi ya,
Yes.. kind of what i was thinking.. although bieing as i only have a road going bike.. the GS run would probably not be suitable for me though, but about the same sort of time as the weather should be good.
Looking at more of a road based run.. simaliar to the queensland run.. the roads are bloody good for bike riding in tamania. didn't know about that site.. have bookmarked it now though.
