Guilderton-Bindoon - Chittering ride

Post by bill9117 »

Such a beautiful May Sunday with club members divided into 2 camps at Cats. The dirt group whom wanted to head for the Mt Dale temple of pain - "bent bikes broken bones and the wrath of pissed off partners" and the other group who just wanted a pleasant ride on such a nice day. It was a hard decision but the nice ride group won me over. 7 riders followed Chris who managed to find the heaviest traffic with the most traffic lights until we got out of the city and then took in the sights of the Moore river, Guilderton ( lunch) and then Bindoon (more lunch) and a ride back thru the Chittering valley. About 400ks. Very pleasant day and great company.

Bill

Thanks for the positive report about the "nice group" particularly as Paul is about to hibernate his bikes and go topless in an Astra, Tom seems to be putting everything on the slate, Aloha Dawn is eyeing off another Honda heart throb, Mark found out who had the biggest fork, you keep putting the "moon" boot into Ken's mates, I can't find my way out of Victoria Park and DFS wants to make sure that we ride at least some unpaved roads...but hey we all got along fine with good humour.

It was a great ride with good company on a fantastic day but not a single drama. Even got home in time to see the Eagles (not Wedgies or Sea) thrash the Dockers...time for a Shiraz.
