Jeff, Titanic Paul and Bozo went for quick spin to Beverley and York today.
The group set off the unstable vehicle alarm at the Great Eastern Highway off ramp from Roe Highway. The sophisticated software detects heavy vehicles who may topple on the 270 degree ramp. Must have been Paul's Boulevard that triggered the flashing lights.
The temperature was a pleasant 29 degrees as we idled through Mundaring with little traffic and no insects. Deviating at the Lakes we then headed down Yarra Road/West Talbot Road to Beverley. After Beverley we turned on to the Top Beverley Road...interesting for Jeff who had not ridden the road before as the first two corners were at the top of crests.
Saint's Diner was still closed so we stopped at the Bugatti Café in York. A slight variation through Cut Hill Road and the trio was back in Perth to greet the heat at 12:30 pm.
Ran into DFS, near the airport, who was leading a larger BMW group of bikes.
Great to be out in the countryside and be back in time to watch the Western Force take on Israel Folau.
