You don't have to have a long neck...to be a goose
This year the muster I believe is on the Anzac weekend with Easter the previous weekend ,3 work days between Easter and Anzac Day ,could make for a good ride with plenty of time to see the sites
One of our members has posted up on the advrider Desert Raid thread asking people to let him know if they want fuel at Rawlinna (subject to being organised).
checking maps, working out fuel matrix's, got the week worked out.....out via Hyden, in via Sandstone.....lot's of roads in between....scouting some of them over Easter in the 4bys
I have been in touch with Barbara Hogg of the Nullarbor Muster Club.
This year as some of you will know, the Nullarbor Muster at Rawlinna is on over the weekend 17 - 19 April.
As a result Barbara has guaranteed not only will there be water and an ablution block to use at Rawlinna, but the committee will ensure there is over 600 litres of unleaded fuel available to purchase at $2.00/litre.
(Confirmed by Club President Daniel who added that he will start the "gen-set" up for those who want to use the ablutions and have a hot shower - all donations to the Club gratefully accepted. As well he will open the shop and people will be free to buy some memorabilia if desired.)
There is no fear of there not being enough fuel to meet all our needs if required.
NO MORE STRESS - KICK BACK AND ENJOY THE RIDE WITHOUT THE ADDED WEIGHT OF FUEL TO GET YOU TO YOUR NEXT DESTINATION ON THE WAY HOME.
Look forward to a grog or two around the campfire with you.
Sorry isn't Desert Raid in May.
So are these good people coming back to give us fuel and water 3 weeks later.
Or goes the muster going on for all that time

Hey Patrick, I think you are right when you say "ODD" and "DIFFERENT"!!
Swampy
"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
Depart Sat 2 May and head for the Breakaways for night one.
Get to Norseman and head south to the Telegraph Track and depending on the going, maybe reach Balladonia for night two.
From Balladonia, start heading north on the Balladonia to Zanthus Road but pick up the Rawlinna Road along the way. If the going gets tough, pull up along that road (although it cant be worse than the Cocklebiddy to Rawlinna road??).
If the going is easy than it could mean two nights in Rawlinna (4th and 5th). Depart Rawlinna on the morning of the 6th.
Return journey will be via Neale Junction on the Connie Sue and onto Warburton. From there its a bit fuzzy. I'm in no rush.
Get back to work!!!
