Ride to Bencubbin overnighter Sat 18th March

BillB will be going on the blacktop. Dirt roads are looking a bit muddy.
Catch the black bears at the Bindoon pie shop at 0950 and will be camping overnight..

An impressive roll up for both Black Bears and Brown Bears despite the mizzle on their different pathways to Bencubbin.

The Brown Bears commandeered one of the lanes at the Caltex Stratton to keep their camping gear dry



The Black Bears were augmented with further arrivals the Bindoon Bakehaus and left with their personal rain cloud that followed them almost to Calingiri. Guy had some electrical problems that split the group but eventually got the Black Bomber firing on two cylinders. The group were briefly together again at Wongan Hills before splitting again with both heading to Cadoux and Koorda.

More motorcyclists joined the group at Koorda before heading to Bencubbin.

A good hit-out enjoyed by myself . Any more rain and I wouldn't of got away with all my gortex liners being left at home.

Thank you to all participants, we had a ball, cool weather, loads of bikes combined with a country show, fellowship, musician, band, fireworks and of course an overnight camp.

Substantial breakfast this morning before splitting into 3 main groups to tackle the leisurely run back towards the metro, groups changed several times as we crossed paths at Wylie, Dowerin, Meckering and Quellington, managed to catch up with some friends on the way
