Sunday ride. Another perfect winter day, sun shining etc. Not many turned up at Cats this long w/e . Too good a day to not ride.
Gavin, Lu, Bill and Doris , Robin, Chris (with new GS 1200 Ralle) and his son decided to head for York. Doris and myself went with Gaven and Lu via Brookton Hwy, Edison Mill rd ( dirt) Dobaderry Rd (more dirt) Kokendin and Talbot West rd (heaps of gravel) Robin and crew went via Mt Dale and we met up in York for lunch. This was Doris's first taste of extensive gravel sitting on the back of my bike so I tried to not freak her out too much so that she would do it again if she was asked. She seemed ok with it when we arrived at York so I guess she is GSA dirt initiated
:
Went back down the Grt Southern Hwy and diverted back onto the gravel heading for Mundaring dam , Lesmurdie Rd and hm
Very enjoyable ride with no real incidences and thanks to Gav and Lu for leading the way
