Rides

Hi all,
commencing next Sunday at breakfast, there will be a white board (of sorts) where anyone planning to ride can post their planned ride and any further details, ie departure, route, destination / return times etc.
This is a short term plan so that anyone planning to ride can let other members know, and so add their name to the list.
In posting a ride, you are announcing what YOU (as a private individual) are planning to do and are inviting others to join you. There is no acceptance of responsibility or accountability, liability or "leading a ride,/ "ride leader", or any legal implications/ responsibilities to any other members. We are a social club of private individuals sharing a common interest/hobby.
The board will cater for "Black Tops" and "Brown Tops" and is an initial means of communicating so members know whats happening and to prevent anyone "missing out because they weren't part of a conversation/ didn't realise anything was on".
Group ride rules will soon be posted on this forum and should be adhered to for the safety of your fellow riders. Guests should also be made aware of these rules prior to departure.
"If you invite, - then do the thing right".
Also best if someone is nominated to write the ride/trip report prior to departure (this way, our beloved Editor doesnt have to beg for magazine material and also include a couple of photos).
