Christmas Orphans, waifs & strays

Hi all,
for those at a loose end and low level social calander
, some are considering a few days away to the South of middle earth where hobbits be, along with a few dwarf's and elves.
Peaceful Bay and similar have been suggested along with some other spots, so if you're of interest, place your monica and "favourite place/always meant to go there one day" locations below to see whom is of interest
The plan is for relaxation mixed with rides, more relaxation, exploration, rehydration and more relaxation.....possible relocation, as in a few days here, then a few days there...come and join in for as long-short as you may wish.
Dates unsure at this time, but will be flexible....

Hi Sprocket,
I fit into the Xmas Orphan category and had thought about doing a five day trip (22.12 - 26.12.12) to Cape Arid National Park.
I have never been there and it is a while since I visited Esperance.
I am pretty flexible however.
Cheers

I too may join you as Toni is going to Cairns and I am unsure if I will be able to book a ticket at short notice. So it may be me and you
just like broke back mountain!
Keep me informed of your plans. I won't know what I'm doing until a few days before Christmas.

Will do Ken.
(not too sure 'bout the mountain bit)
Patricks' keen on Cape Arid, (the clue is in the name
), and if you have any ideas, lets 'ave 'em.

If your going to Cape Arid, might pay to check with Dept of Enviroment and Conservation (Cape Arid ranger or DEC Esperance) regarding camping spots, some might need booking, the place gets packed that time of the year. Thomas River is a good spot nearby (shire run I think)
or otherwise Cape Legrand closer to town.

Lefty,
be sure not to miss out!
Looks like Patrick will be heading out earlier than myself around the 20th to Cape Arid territory.
So far I'm planning to get to Peaceful Bay via Pemberton somewhere between Boxing day and the 30th.
Based there and having day runs out and about.
All welcome to drop in, say g'day and relax for as long as you want.

Magic Mate, despite getting bogged and knocking the rangers up on Xmas Day
.
I would have put up a post with photos but it is not so easy. Everything has to go through Big Brother
