Christmas Dinner, ride to Narrogin

A few of us are camping at Narrogin and thinking of a hard-top ride down on Saturday (don't want to arrive dirty!!!!! ) anyone else interested.

One suggestion;
We meet at the Dome Cafe in Armadale City Shopping Centre at say 11.30am. (even time too mull over an alternative route!)
Leave by 12.30pm and head up the Brookton Hwy. turning off for Pingelly.
Next head for Wickepin then on to Narrogin, should be there for around 4pm. This is about 240 kms.from Armadale so quite a relaxing ride.

OR who fancies something a little further ????

You comeing Swampy? 8)

My mobile is on the members forum, give me a phone or SMS if you are held up so I know you are on the way.

Good on you Dave and thanks for the invite. Be happy to meet you at Dome on Saturday prior to heading for the hills. :P

Will see you there at 1130 if I can find parking

Hope we have a good turn out for the ride and glad your making the trip mate. 8)

Swampy

PS. Parking could be at a premium on Saturday morning at Xmas Dave, May I suggest an alternative meeting spot at the Narrogin Inn on the cnr. of Southwest Hwy and Albany Hwy Armadale. No coffee shop but always plenty of parking???

OK, good point
How about the Dome on Canning Road, Kalamunda at 11.30..... somewhere different to usual !
Nice and easy to get to The Brookton Hwy..... or where ever.
I only suggest a Dome because they usually have plenty of room.

I'm happy with that Dave, Dome Kalamunda, 1130hrs Saturday sounds good, I will be there. Better than Armadale with no parking and someone riding shotgun to protect your gear

Once again I hope we get a good turnout for the run down to Narrogin..............Are you going Ken and Toni or is Mumbai calling?.....What about Bill and Doris, Gav and Lou, and Phil and Kim and the rest of the members????

Swampy

Safely home via Williams, Quindanning, Dwellingup. Leapfrogged with Gav & Lou and Bowe & Sally.

Thank you to the organizers for a nice venue and a very enjoyable evening.

The Grey Mare's first trip out of Perth in 10 months and she ran like thoroughbred!

What a great evening in Narrogin!

Thanks to the organising committe. Another Xmas dinner well done. Definitely no shortage of quality country food.

Made it home safely myself at around 1.30am. Stopped a couple of times to re-activate. No roos, very few bugs, beautiful clear starry sky.

What's to say? Bonza all

I agree it was a great Xmas Dinner, camping grounds an improvement over New Norcia.

A good ride home with Patrick & Erron. The trip home covered 450kms with bit of dirt to keep the adrenalin going along with a couple of nice windy roads. The basic route was Taronga Rd, then onto dirt via Hillman-Dardaine Rd to Darkan. Then a bit more dirt on Bowelling-Mcalinden Rd to Boyup Brook for fuel & coffee. Then a simple run up to Dardanup via Ferguson valley. Next leg was to Waroona and Nanga Brook Road to Dwellingup to drop off Erron. Patrick and I carried on via Del Park Road to home. We separated for our own trip home at Jarrahdale Rd. A good company and a good ride.
