Ride to Bakers Hill / Clackline Sunday 13th January

Post by Cookie »

Cookie is off to visit some friends on Sunday 13th, leaving Catalano's around 8.45am for a Cooke's tour of the hills, a visit to Bakers Hill pie shop for morning tea, call in to see some friends at Clackline, then wander home - long way if weather is nice or shorter route if the heat is on.

It will be black top all the way (assuming no road works).

Catch up over coffee on Sunday and let me know if you would like to tag along.
Regards

A great run today, 6 bikes + 2 pillions made their way out through the hills to Bakers Hill for morning tea, Noel popped in for a cameo appearance on the WLA, Clackline, Spencers Brook, back way to Toodyay for more coffee, before 3 riders headed back to metro and 3 continued north to Bolgart, Calingiri, New Norcia and home run back to Perth ~400km for the day.

Quiet road and good fellowship along the way 8)

I hope you guys had a nice cruisy ride. I joined the chook-chasers, weaving our way through the tracks off Julimar Road. Some nice technical bits here & there, a slower pace than usual for our ride leaders, but that suited Jamie & me just fine. Did a marvellous exhibition of tank slapping, whiplash, whoa girl, settle down, in a big patch of sand and manage to stay on 2 wheels....phew! Thought we were going to cop another downpour as we left Bindoon Bakery, but someone was being kind to me this weekend.

Great to know you managed to stay upright Toni, Unlike most people who follow "Keep it Cool and stay on the curb Ken"

Will work harder tomorrow and you should see some BIG changes ................Promise

Cheers Swampy

I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

I joined said ride of the DR Section of the club. 4 DR's and one awesome F8GS. Didn't feel flash in the morning and tagged along for a pleasurable ride with the DR's through Bullsbrook, Chittering, Avon park and turned around at Julimar for the same way back.

Felt awesome when I got back home. That bike riding works magic!

Thanks for the ride....well done Toni.
