I am planning a ride around Beverly, York, Clackline, Toodyay, Calingiri, New Norcia and home, this Sunday if weather is reasonable.

Leaving from Catalano's at 8.30, following breakfast.

8 riders + 1 pillion, enjoyed a pleasant run out of the city through the hills to Beverly, for snack and drink Swampy overcame bike flue to catch up with us there, we continued on to York, Clackline and Toodyay for lunch before breaking into smaller groups to take different paths home.
About 350km under the belt and home by 3pm, good weather, lots of fellowship and not much traffic, a fantastic way to spend a Sunday, thankyou to all involved.

Sorry I missed the ride (sort of).

Instead I did 570km through the Ferguson Valley, Lowden, Mumballup, McAlinden, Collie Motorplex, Harris Dam and Quindanning.

The Ferguson Road was brilliant particularly the section beyond Gnomesville and much less traffic than a few weeks ago.

The McAlinden Road was new to me and it is a fantastic motor cycle road. The Collie Road South East started pretty ordinary but was brilliant after a few kms.

The Williams Collie Road is a good ride...similar to the Coalfields Road East of Collie.

I tried a new road to Quindanning...the Quindanning Darkan Road as I heard it was being upgraded. It is now 2/3rds bitumen but the gravel end was extensively weather damaged from the recent rains.
