Ravensthorpe Wild flower show

I am planning a ride to Ravensthorpe Wild flower Show, leaving Friday 6th September and returning Sunday 8th, details will be refined over the next few weeks, Friday night in Esperance with family and a house with around 10 beds plus room for swags or tents will be available at Hopetoun for the Saturday night.
Anyone interested in joining me, register your interest here, or catch up at breakfast and I will try to tailor a ride to suit the majority. Dirt riders can easily plan a route to meet up with Road riders at the base camp.
I will try to consider a route that works in with the Alphabet challenge and accommodates all skill levels.

Pls count me in. The early arrival of one grand daughter may trump this. Strictly black top only for me. Regards, Ed

Cookie, just had a good look at some possible routes and the one that I am interested in is Brookton Hwy to Corrigin. I think 550kms to Raventhorpe from Perth is a little too ambitious for me being a newbie and all so may even leave on Thursday and spend the night in Corrigin and immerse myself in some country pub culture. I am sure the presence of an asiatic RT rider in Corrigin may give the locals something to talk about besides the crop. Especially if I say I am the forward scout of a horde of Yellow Peril heading their way! That being the case I will make my way to Ravensthorpe the following day and spend Fri night there for the flower show on Sat? Hopetoun Sat night and Albany Sunday and return to Perth Mon. That's a plan for now. Cheers, Ed

Hello fellow riders
I spent some time thinking, whilst visiting the Flinders Ranges last week, depending on numbers - I may go through to Hopetoun on Friday 6th (~600km), lazy day Saturday visit Wild Flower show at Ravensthorpe (~120km return) and leisurely trip home on Sunday (~600km), picking up various alphabet letters along the way, this will make for a fairly relaxed trip and more time for site seeing.
Please let me know if you are thinking of tagging along.
