Phasing the Farklemeisters

DFS and Sprocket are well known farklemeisters in the club and their heavily modified machines moseyed north with Bozo (on a plain white bike only modified by a gremlin bell) to suss out the wildflowers and to get a few more Alphabet Challenge letters.
The Chittering Valley was a welcome relief to the trucks and learner drivers that clogged the highways. The wattle and Leschenaultia made a stark contrast to the rolling green hills.
Bindoon was like Catalanos with 30 bikes from two clubs taking a pie stop. A deviation to New Norcia via the Mogumber (sorry DFS Moora) Road gave the letters U (Udamung Brook), W Wannamal, Y Yarmindah Brook and M Mogumber through a scenic drive amongst gold canola crops. A hydration stop amongst the gray nomads at New Norcia was followed by V Victoria Plains and T Toodyay. Bees managed to sting one rider and partially obscure the vision of another but as Davey says GS riders are tough.
At Toodyay a new 1200gs pulled in with the rider only having taken delivery of it this week.
He and his father were to travel on the BMWs with the Police Commissioner and to meet with 1,000 in Canberra the following week. A very interesting discussion with the pair at the Coca Cola Cafe before turning for Perth.
Farklemeister Davey kept asking whether his beak was interferring with his spot lights and so a trial was arranged at Morangup with DFS swapping bikes to show Davey the impact of his new LEDs. The Russian Relay Roulette that followed was complex with the lights switching themselves off randomly. The two Farklemeisters were unable to solve the problem and were last heard discussing the implications of a relay linked to a relay.
A great day for riding in a magnificent part of Australia. Thanks Sprocket and DFS for good company. Hopefully Sprocket will see the light soon.
