It was on a beautiful spring day in Western Australia, when it was time. McFarkle flew in to take Toni's trusty globe-trotting R 80 G/S on a long ride... without Toni :cry:

So the tears flowed, fond farewells extended, the customary wait for DFS, and off they went. Cookie heading the pack (of three). McFarkle on a mission to make Albany in double quick time so he could pick up the end of the great Aussie Bathurst V8 round, where incidentally Ford FPV, the factory, took out the victory with a stunning drive around the mountain.
