Easter Ride - Cave Hill and Surrounds

I plan to ride to Cave Hill during Easter and spend a day looking around. It is a pretty simple plan….I’ll be on the 1200 GSA.
Day one – Ride to Hyden via good formed unsealed roads and then take the Hyden-Norseman Road to the Breakaways.
Day two – Arrive at Cave Hill around noon via Victoria Rock Road. Have a look around.
Day three – Leave around noon and head for Coolgardie. Camp near the Trans Australian Railway access road.
Day four – Continue along the TAR track to Southern Cross and then to Perth via Kellerberrin, Quairading, York and then Pertrh.
If you think the ride would suit you then you are welcome to tag along.
Steve

Hi Steve,

I am not sure that I am sorry I missed the Labour Weekend Ride now or not?:-)

I certainly would like to tag along on this ride.

I know jls is thinking about kicking onto Rawlinna so just depending on my work contract situation I may have the time to do that also.

Cheers

Patrick

JLS if "....taking it from there" means heading to Rawlinna?

I have a contact who is heading out in a 4x4 and is happy to take anything out there that we dont want to carry?

Let me know.

Cheers

Patrick

G'day Guys, just wondering about what time you will get to Hyden...... Only reason I ask is that I am in Turkey/Israel at the moment and don't get back into Aust till late on Thurs 17, looking forward to a ride when I get home. Saw a few BM's in Turkey, mostly GS's, have only been in Israel for 24 hours, haven't seen any decent bikes yet.
My number is 0409615976, if someone could send me a text on the Friday morning would be great.
Cheers Jim

To make the Breakaways at a reasonable time to set up etc, we would have to be clear of Hyden by 3.00pm. I will take down your number and contact you throughout Friday to give you a better idea of an ETA.

For those going to Cave Hill (or for those that are just tagging along until it suits them) i propose we meet at the Dome Cafe over the road and slightly East of Catalanos (cats are closed) at 7.30am for a 8.00am departure. We will take Brookton Highway and turning off onto minor roads just prior to reaching Brookton. I hope to be at Hyden before 3.00pm before leaving for The Breakaways.
Regards
Steve
