Dangers of riding home...

Post by spacey1 »

Riding home from brekky this morning, an RBT filled the scenery. As the queue was short, I decided to stay the course.

When I asked if it measured coffee or tea, the kind officer instructed, "blow in the bag, sir". And so, in the bag it went.

Zero readings on all counts, and no coffee or tea reading either

So much for short cuts through Burswood... :|

A mug of double espresso with a single sugar is also transparent to the measuring instruments... today!

But you never know what they will come up with next

Too fast (by a pooftenth) - gotcha
Too slow (love to see that one get some stick)
Too tired (all you shift workers), apparently the 'sleepy-om-meter' is on the way.
Too inattentive (the boys are doing a good job tapping the text'ers) - gotcha
Too smelly (I'm told your exhaust can be measured while you drive-by) - If WA copies NSW, this could be you
Too loud (Note: this doesn't apply to you if you own a Harley)???

How long before "Too alert" is going to come under scrutiny. Will a 'caffeine-o-meter' be our downfall

Look forward to the parking fines after 8am at brekky in the near future :|

You need to get out more if this was the highlight of your weekend Nev .

I had a great weekend camping down in Boddington for the music festival, took the tricycle and the camper trailer down, more like glamping with that setup.

Bully, a true-er word hath never been spoken...

Note to self > Nev, you need to get out more...

Things should improve from here on... except next weekend, and of course on April 27th, when myself and a bunch of more talented (than I) individuals are running the... drumroll... Perth International Great Waiters Race http://www.perthwaitersrace.com/. All profits donated to Alzheimers and neuro-muscular research.

First prize is a trip to enter into the Great Waiters Race in Paris France.

If you know any restaurants who want extra visibility in the eyes of the paying public, who have a skilled and talented waiter, who can run a race of 850 metres around Claisebrook Cove, without spilling a drop (OR less than anybody else), point them in the direction of the website, http://www.perthwaitersrace.com/, to enroll.

In conjunction with this event, there will be a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop. 3000 golf balls each sold for $20 each, all shiny and numbered by yours truly and a crazy bunch of others last weekend, will be dropped from a helicopter over the point at Claisebrook Cove, East Perth. Closest to the hole wins a car. There are many minor prizes. Almost as many as a Camp-Cook-Off.

Golf Ball Tickets available from Nev 8)

All profits donated to Alzheimers and neuro-muscular research.

To plug the gaps in the proceeding on Sunday afternoon, there will be a Gourmet Village set-up to feed the crowds.

Again, if you know any restaurateurs or gourmet-titions, who would like to operate a tent and promote there tucker, point them to http://www.perthwaitersrace.com/

After that I can start "GETTING OUT MORE"

Did I mention, all profits donated to Alzheimers and neuro-muscular research.

So before you all FORGET, BUY a ticket for a NUMBERED GOLF BALL from Nev...
