I am heading to the Porongurups on Saturday 15th November for an overnight camp at Porongurup Range Tourist Park (0898531057 ~$20 per unpowered tent site), leaving Morley at 8.30am for a meandering trip through edge of wheat belt then head southward arriving early to mid afternoon.
Site seeing before setting up camp site and settling in for the night, nothing planned for dinner - open to suggestions - there is a camp kitchen onsite and I will have my usual selection of cooking equipment.

Pack up after breakfast and take in more sites before heading for Mount Barker to meet up with another group of riders on their way home from Denmark arriving back in Perth by mid afternoon Sunday.

Anyone wanting to tag along or meet up along the way, let me know before hand and we can negotiate details

Return trip will be around 900km of easy black top riding, camp ground has full facilities - you will not need to carry huge amounts of gear

Hello fellow campers,

Only a week to go before I head southward, let me know if you are planning on tagging along.

5 bikes + the girls in a car made the thousand K round trip in superb conditions, thank you to all for a great adventure. Granite walk is a must if you venture near this part of the state, plenty of dirt roads to play on if you prefer - we tried out a couple on the way back:)
