Only one made it to Oakover

Today's spontaneous ride was to Bindoon via Neaves Road, then Julimar Road to Toodyay and the Swan Valley.
The ride was pretty warm and became a battle of attrition for the six riders..
Angela was the first to slip away in the Swan Valley. We then turned down Warbrook Road and past the area burnt in the Bullsbrook fire. Crews had done an amazing job to replace burnt power poles. It was amazing that the high voltage towers did not have better fire protection.
Through the Chittering Valley where German Paul battled the 1800cc behemoth through the tight corners.
A pie at the Bakehaus at Bindoon and Bill bailed making references to the heat.
Now down to four, the group headed to Toodyay for another stop at the Coca Cola Café. Bozo made a blue thinking that Salt Valley Road had been sealed through to Fernie Road so the group had to do a U Turn back to Toodyay Road.
German Paul turned off at Stoneville Road, Kim and Karl headed home leaving Bozo as the only member of the group to make Oakover Winery.
Lefty was singing his heart out with his new sound system and there was a big mob weaving through the Retro Fair.
Even though there was a fair sized crowd at Oakover it was a little smaller than last time and easier to get in and out.
Good to get and ride a few twisties.
Sorry Lefty for not bringing a mob....maybe next time.
