Yes I notice much the same on my daily commute to/from work on 2 wheels. Kudo to the K1200S stability and electronics. More than once as I rode along the Kwinana Freeway heading north (the stretch closest to the river) in extreme weather, I got dumped on by freak waves. You can say that the bike was submerged for a split second, but the Beemer kept going without as much as blink!

Tom

Not all riders bailed because of the weather and we are not all soft and averse to getting wet.

For instance Guy could have been out with Dinga in a floating ammo box chasing Spaniards...see http://www.bluewaterfreediversofwa.com/ ... eshark.htm

Your a bloody legend Gascoyne Guy. I bet it was nice and warm in your wetsuit? 8)

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
