German Paul, Wes, Irish Tom, Brian and Trish, Bill and Kim took advantage of the brilliant riding weather to weave through the Chittering Valley to Prince Harry's favourite bakery at Bindoon.
No sighting of the royal so on to Mogumber to be greeted by the pub dog before the scenic winding road along Yarmindah Brook. New Norcia was deserted so we headed to Toodyay via Calingiri. The group now down to five located a ring side seat at the Coca Cola Café to see a talented aerial silk acrobat tackle the gusting wind and produce spectacular manoeuvres that would make Prince Harry take his cap off.
The wind increased in strength to over 60 kph, enough to break small branches of trees, as the group headed home through Clackline, Coates Road, Wooroloo, Chidlow and Mount Helena.
No sightings of the Sassy Royal but an enjoyable ride.
