Drew, Swampy, Karl, Noel, David and Bozo headed out for a southern ride from Catalanos.
There were massive numbers of motorcycles in the Darling Scarp as Karragullen, Araluen and Canning Dam flew by.
At Jarrahdale the group decided to head to Pinjarra to do a cold case review of the missing motorcycle jacket.
Karnet Prison Farm was buzzing with Sunday visitors but the roads were mercifully clear of lycra clad cyclists travelling in the same direction as us.
At North Dandalup we veered off on Lakes Road to take the sweeping bend route to Pinjarra.
The Pinjarra Bakery soon came into view but no suspicious characters were spotted, nor any evidence of the missing motorcycle jacket.
Pies all round was the order before we headed north.
A relaxed ride with good company

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
