Celebrating World Gin Day

Today's excuse for a ride was the celebration of World Gin Day (Saturday June 13).
10 riders headed off to Gin-gers in the Swan Valley.....Koos, Dinga, Wightman, Lefty, David, Wes, Brian/5, Sleepy Paul, Drew and Bozo.
Bozo was shaken but not stirred when his bike toppled off its stand at Gin-gers having imbibed a full tank of 95 RON earlier in the day.
A Sloe run through the Chittering Valley was followed by a stop at the Bindoon Bakery looking for a Juniper Berry Cake. We had to be happy eating beef in pastry.
Lefty was in party mode travelling in a bubble of loud music that had anyone in proximity pressing palms against their ears.
David and Sleepy Paul called "drinks" on the ride and only five continued the country crawl to Mogumber, Moora and Dandaragan to Gin-Gin.
A souped up Brian/5 headed home with the Beefeaters of Wes, Drew and Bozo.
A brilliant riding day again...how long can we have blue sky Sundays and lots of humour. It was dry as it should be when celebrating world gin day.
