Re: K Ride 25 October
Thanks to Dinga for leading and Mr Wightman for being tail end charlie.
We went through places I've never been before, like Kwinana Beach, Rockingham and Safety Bay. So that was quite educational.
Stopped at Fox Den cafe in Safety Bay for a coffee, then a regroup on Estuary Rd in Mandurah, refuel in Waroona, up Nanga Brook Rd to Dwellingup.
Executive decision by Dinga to give Quindanning a miss as it was too late. For what I'm not sure.
Blue Wren Cafe in Dwellingup was chockas, 30 min wait for food, so off to the pub instead, though Goldie and I were smart and went to the servo for a "cheap" pie and paste.
At this point I left the group and went to Quindanning anyway, then up through Boddington, across to Albany Hwy, got wet for a bit near the Monadnocks (look that up), across Canning Dam Rd past Araluen, then Canning Rd, Welshpool East rd and eventually home at 4.30pm.
Mostly K-bikes, but the most impressive of all attendees by far was Goldie on his "new" R1200C. What an ugly bike! But it pulls like a tractor, he tells me.
Again, thanks to all for a good day out,
pete

Re: K Ride 25 October
Very disappointed that I got called into work just as the ridercade was about to leave. Spent the day working as some of the international logistics in flying project related stuff from Dallas via Atlanta to Johannesburg had gone skewwhiff due to weight/balance issues on the plane.
Looks like an interesting ride with some new routes.

Hey Koos,
I saw you riding back toward the city with your tail between your legs, that's dedication to the job big time!!
I actually thought you had just finished that job and were thinking about holidays in RSA!!
