Skirting a Minagerie of Minis and a Sweat of Cyclists

Sunday in the Hills is always interesting. If its not Western Power stopping your free flowing enjoyment of the twisty roads it will be cyclists, insects, Sunday drivers or owners of exotic cars.

8 riders and one pillion left Cats this morning keen to be an obstruction to no one. Swampy and Baby Blue sheep dogged the cautious and the inattentive so that we all arrived at the lost points. GS Bill and Trish were on the fast cornering K1300 often filling Bozo's mirrors. The group headed to Pickering Brook and then travelled to Mundaring via Patterson Road and Mundaring Weir Road. Cyclists were everywhere both on the roads and crossing the roads. At Mundaring we met a minagerie of Minis doing a poor version of the Italian Job and looking more like a convoy of Eskys on wheels. A quick blast around O'Brien Road and back along Reserve Road for a pie at Gidgegannup and home by Bunning Road back to Mundaring.

It was still warm despite most of the roads being shaded. Home in time to see the first Kiwi wicket for the day.

Thanks to Swampy for avoiding any lost souls this Sunday.

No need for thanks Bozo, Always happy to assist if I'm able.

Thank you for heading another excellent ride which I think everyone enjoyed immensely not withstanding the kamikazi cyclists and that mob of beautiful Mini's 8)

Good company once again which make these rides so much more enjoyable.
