Coming back from Denmark yesterday about 15 ks short of Williams on the Albany Hwy when passing a road train the back of the bike started feeling a bit squishy which isn't a good feeling at passing speeds alongside a 70 m large vehicle. The squishy feeling developed into a wobble and we managed to slow down and pull off the road before the road train came along. On inspecting the back tyre it seemed to have lost all its air and the valve assembly was loose in the rubber insert. Mobile coverage was a no go so used the sat ph to ring RAC roadside assistance who arrived 2 hrs later after they gave the tow driver the wrong location. He carted us to Narrogin where Noel delivered a new tyre he had picked up from Perth and driven it down. We refitted the tyre and drove back to Perth arriving home at 9pm. Long day

Hi Bill

Do you think it was because of all the undelivered Christmas presents and excess bottles of wine still in your panniers?
