Show us your Boxers

On hot day Wightman found an innovative way to keep cool....stripping down to a pair of Boxers at each stop. The play on words was constrained as he was riding an old K bike, not a BMW boxer powered unit.
Seven riders headed off into the heat to reach the Chittering Valley via Warbrook Road, Railway Parade, Rutland Road and Wandena Road. They were Swampy, DFS, German Paul, David, Wightman, Robbie and Bozo. Swampy and DFS managed the back of the pack so that we all reached the Bindoon Bakehaus for the mandatory bakery products. Wightman had a massive cinnamon scroll whilst he described the hidden dangers of sugar. DFS had a bee in his bonnet about helmets whilst German Paul mumbled something about the difference between being warm and being cremated. Wightman ran into a couple of historic motorcycle mates who were intrigued by his apparent disregard for protective equipment.
The bulk of the group headed back to Toodyay via Julimar Road and then to Clackline, Woorooloo, Sawyers Valley and then home.
Getting to Julimar Road we were passed by ten sports bikes travelling at "warp speed". On Julimar Road a tree had fallen onto our side of the road blocking 75% of the lane.
A pleasant ride with a lot of humour. Thanks to Swampy for keeping the group intact.
Bozo
