Not too hot, not too cold..........

Had to get out for a decent ride this morning before I go under the knife again so it was off to the north east with the first stop being Bakers Hill. Up the road a bit and then a right turn towards Spencers Brook before heading south east and cruising past the York Racing Club and then down the main street (only spotted one bike at the bakery). Fuelled up at the Lakes (to check the consumption figures, 10.86litres, 160km), back through Gooseberry Hill and past the Kalamunda Farmer's Markets. The odometer clicked just over 210km as I pulled into the driveway where the temperature registered a pleasant 24.8C, a rise of 8.0C since I departed.

Not sure why everyone was scared off by the weather forecast, the temperature was 'just right'!

Which bike were you on?

Seemed you also left pretty early. The lowest temperature we encountered in the hills was 27.5 degrees around 9:15 am.

I thought you'd be the first enquiry!

On my beautiful new 1983 BMW R100RS, left home at 6.10am!

Great to hear the new acquisition went well...it is very hard to get the Catalano group to start a ride before 8:45 am.

Plus I have the advantage of being in Kalamunda so I'm already in the land of hills, twisties and the land of the long Lycra clad mobs!
