Sensory Overload on Horrocks Pass

Horrocks Pass is one of my favourite stretches of road. It passes through the Flinders Ranges and has a magic series of bends as you climb towards Wilmington.

The attached video has the Tom Tom lady telling me to turn around if I want to get to Melbourne by the shortest route and Richard Fidler interviewing about the parallel track to the Kokoda Track.

Obviously it is shot from a car from a sketchy mount but it gives you an idea of the Pass and its sweeping bends.

And the Wilmington Hotel is a very good place to stay and have a beer.

Guy

You give another meaning to Top Gear being a long running series.

Came through Korrocks pass last SUnday towing the camper with the 4wd.
Not the same as the bike but a great stretch of road none the less.
For excitement I let Mrs McFarkle drive........
