Grainy ride to Goomalling

A small gathering at Catalanos today, no doubt influenced by the Christmas function the night before.
No reports of line dancing emerged amongst the 67 guests at Mean Machines.
Colin was back in action on his LC GS sporting pictures of Lepers Gully Road and its decaying infrastructure. Noel had the 40's Harley so that Harry Honda would not feel in the minority and Mackerel Eddy was sporting new gear.
German Paul, Swampy, Mackerel Eddy, Peter, GS Bill + Trish and Bozo took advantage of the cooler day to head to grainy heart of WA - Goomalling. After a quick stop at Gidgegannup to check whether any pillions had been lost the group survived an unmarked police car and deviated onto Lilydale Road to do the Breeze Road run in reverse emerging on Mayo Road. Much of the crop had been harvested but there were still patches of wheat and oats.
Goomalling was very quiet with the café closed and Slater's homestead shut. A quick drink stop at BP and we were into the twisties on the Goomalling Meckering Road. Through no fault of Bozo we missed the earthquake evidence as we passed through Meckering to the Quellington Road. Getting to Spencer Brook Road via Burgess siding road we reached Bakers Hill for the mandatory pie break.
The group split up for the ride back to Perth.
A lot of humour, much talk about Motorrad gear, haircuts and travel. Thanks to Swampy for doing tail end duties as whilst many of the group were misguided none were misdirected.
Happy Christmas
Bozo
