Doris and myself intend to ride to Lancelin on Fri 30th for lunch at the Lancelin Tavern. "winner of the best beer garden in Australia award"
A group of Bozo led riders checked out this venue some time ago and the General consensus was that we should arrange a club luncheon event here. As everyone agreed the venue and food lived up to its award credentials. So the committee have agreed that as we have now successfully had the city function we will also reward members who like a country ride and country function another opurtunity for further celebration of the end of year holiday period with another informal club function.
There are numerous accomodation options for the Friday night or longer if members want to stay and as New Year's Eve is on the Sat night this allows people to head home for NY celebrations back in the big smoke on Sat night ,maybe after a breakfast get together. In the morning.
Potential participants should indicate their interest so we can organise maybe a club ride with partners and also organise with the Tavern suitable tables and food supplies if we have big numbers interested....
It is up to members wishing accom to organise it themselves.
Lancelin is a nice sleepy beachside town that is great for unwinding from the stress of the city

It seems that the holiday celebrations has got the better of members , resulting in no one interested in a country Xmas , NY end of year ride, get together at Lancelin tomorrow for lunch at the Lancelin Tavern.
As a result of no one indicating they wish to participate we have decided to save this event for another day when members may have got over the current festivities and are again fired up to participate in a club event into 2017.
We will keep members posted when the club will again indicate the event will take place, maybe on a Saturday and Lancelin is not so busy.

I would think Bill, that at present we are all still wallowing in the joy's & enrichment that Xmas provides us all. Let's do it after the season of merriment has passed.

Bill I do appreciate the efforts made by you to organise some events. But seriously trying to organise something through the Xmas break with 1 weeks notice.
