The ride ended up departing with five riders.
Firstly checking out the bends on the airports gateway and then loop up through the hills finally descending via the zig zag.
Ending up with soup and burgers at Alfred's kitchen.

Thanks Brian for navigating us around an extravaganza of twisties that screamed 'FUN' :P

The edges of tyres were tested well and truly 8)

Fair too say that we all enjoyed the coffee and the perv at AutoClassic BMW, our meeting point.
All those juicy new models on the showroom floor, very tasty indeed... 8)

The cornering experience around the airport is very good practice for West Australian motorcyclists who are mostly weighed down with endless straight flat roads...

A relaxing pause at the top of the zig-zag gave us a panoramic view of our town...

There was a lurker trying to stay inconspicuous behind a tree...

The crew at the Zig Zag...

Couldn't resist, "What an awesome motorcycle!"

The view...

Cruising gently down the Zig Zag, we encountered a skate-boarder escorted by a wheel spinning auto-driving companion. Luckily they pulled over to let us enjoy a skate-board-free ride to Alfred's Kitchen for a pea and ham soup / burger / etc.

Great way to spend a balmy Perth evening 8)

Onya Brian !

This week has slipped by with no mid week evening ride planned.
Original intent was for it to occur a week after the club meeting.
So will delay it until the Wednesday 22nd Feb.
Same start - Auto Classic meeting around 6:00pm for 6:30pm departure.
Route, timing and destination TBA

Thanks for arranging a well constructed ride to take advantage of the perfect riding conditions.

Great roll up with three pillions as well.

The route selected had very little traffic and no roos.

Excellent pizza at Little Caesars in Mundaring.

Had a chat to the owners a brace of 1200 GS's and three Africa Twins (one only 2 weeks old) at the pizzeria.

A Very enjoyable evening ride thru great roads (black bear) up,down, around, in,out and all over the Perth hills ending up at Mundaring for a pizza.
Club members mixed and had a chinwag in the AC showroom and departed on the ride at about 1740 and headed in a close formation to the hills with no one becoming lost or separated. Daylight started disappearing about 40 mins later as BRIEN/5 led the group in a mind bending trek that had everyone quite bamboozled with their sense of trying to work out where they were, especially as the now black of night made it more difficult to pick up landmarks. Most were quite surprised when we eventually entered the familiar round-about at Mundaring with about 70 kms on the clock.
At the pizza cafe the group squeezed into a long table and consumed much very yummy pizza. There was another group of M/Cs as Bozo mentioned and some of us had a chat with them. We exchanged stories of rides and bikes and as there were a number BMs in the group we did the club membership drive bit with some interest exhibited.
A big thanks to Brian for rganising the event. :P
