G'Day Slackers.

I'm thinkin' about an overnight mid week pre 'Desert Riding Season' shake down ride (not as scary as it seems...it's just to check your 'systems' are sound) sometime mid week mid March. It wont be difficult...I'm thinking an overnighter at one of the Rocks, ie, Baladjie, Billiburning or similar. Once clear of the city it will be mostly good formed unsealed farm roads. I'll be on my DR 650.

It'll be mid week...I'm leaning toward the week of 20-24 March.

If you are interested and have a preference to see another part of the State then I'm open to ideas.

Thought about it...but my weekends are spent doin' other stuff so i'll stick to mid week.

I'll be giving the XRV some TLC - new steering head bearings, rebuild steering damper, new chain/sprockets, new shoes & some other mods/tweaks I've been meaning to do. I'd like to think I'd get it all done in 3 weeks but I doubt. Put me down as a 'maybe'.

Nah... the usual crowd is there. The AT has first serious duties lined up for this season, ergo* TLC with the hope of a shakedown ride to QA the TLC.

* 1st note to Bozo - every post should contain a wee bit of Latin**. Fiat.
** 2nd note to Bozo - ergo will feature heavily cos that's nearly all I got.
