More roos than cars

Left Perth at 5:00 am this morning for another loop through the South West. Used the Forrest Highway traffic as a roo bar until turning off on Wellesley Road to get to Brunswick and then took Henty Road into the Ferguson Valley.
After leaving the Highway there were more cyclists than roos and more roos than cars.
Came across 30 cyclists in two bunches on Henty Road. The valley was magnificent at 7:00 in the morning with not a cloud in the sky. At Balingup I turned on to the Nannup Balingup Road. It was excellent with only one vehicle travelling in the opposite direction in 40 kms of twisties. The only real surprise was two massive roos parked in the middle of the road as I came around a blind corner.
At Nannup ran into a motorcycling mate of a club member who had just come back from Lake Yearlering. More motorcycles than cars on Mowen Road before having a queue of two people to vote at Rosa Brook. Caves Road was busy but enjoyable.
At Dunsborough I encountered the Indian Harley Club of Bunbury Two Day Event for motorcycles over 25 years old. About a dozen nice BMWs amongst the plethora of British and USA antiquities. Seemed like a hundred bikes in the Dunsborough Hotel car park (photos to follow of a R69S, Paris Dakar etc).
A pie at Dunsborough, a loop through Wonnerup, a run along the Leschenault Inlet and a few more detours to be home at 5:00 pm.
A great ride albeit a bit chilly for an airflow jacket and tee shirt (13.5 degrees in the Ferguson Valley).
Disclaimer: No roos were injured in this event, no road kill remnants were needed to fix motorcycles and no rocks were used in this adventure....rated 1 on a scale of 1 to Digger.
